Why creating a new collection is like giving birth

As a busy mum, I first thought of this as a funny idea for a post, but the more I think about it, there are a lot of similarities.

It takes about nine months from beginning to delivery.

You are giving life to something that didn't exist before

You don't sleep well while it's cooking

Just because you've had one doesn't mean the next one will be the same.

Delivery doesn't come when you expect it.

It can be painful, but the result is totally worth it.
